Taylor Friend

Managing Partner

Taylor Friend is a real estate transactions and capital markets expert with over 12 years of experience across private and public markets. Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Friend was SVP, Capital Markets and Treasurer at Kilroy Realty, sourcing over $2B of capital. He previously worked in real estate investment banking at Goldman Sachs and PJT Partners. He received his BS from USC and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

Shahny Lutfeali

Managing Partner

Shahny Lutfeali is a multi-disciplinary commercial real estate professional with a decade of transaction, development, and management experience across the multifamily, office, and industrial sectors on the West Coast. Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Lutfeali was a Managing Director at Tishman Speyer, where he oversaw the Pacific Northwest and Southern California markets and directed $2.1B of total activity. He received his BS in Accounting from USC.

Clay Friend

Managing Partner

Clay Friend is a real estate investment and development expert with over 10 years of experience focused on Southern California markets. Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Friend was a Partner at GPI Companies, where he was responsible for the firm's multifamily investment initiatives, acquiring and developing 1M+ SF of multifamily, mixed-use, office, and retail. He received his BA in Business Economics with Honors from UCLA and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

Randall J. Friend

Chairman

Randall J. Friend founded Eagle Real Estate Group in 2000. Over three decades, Mr. Friend has delivered exceptional investment returns, capital protection, and tax benefits to investors and partners through multiple real estate cycles. His career includes a law practice focused on real property and taxation, both as a sole practitioner and in the Los Angeles office of Allen Matkins. A licensed attorney and California real estate broker, he earned an LLM in Taxation from NYU (1987) after his JD from California Western Law School (1986, Cum Laude).
